Stowaway Lockers has been started by Geoff and his daughter Helen after finding that few schools offer lockers to students because of administration and maintenance problems.
Helen, was a student at Whangarei Girls’ High School.
She realised many students appreciate having lockers to store heavy books and bags.
Students also like the convenience of being able to switch books to just the ones needed for each lesson.
The lockers are also a secure place to store items so the student is free to take part in sports and other activities without having to worry about thefts from their bags.
